The mural is located at the entrance of the 7 train (Flushing/Hudson Yards) at 42nd Street/3rd Ave, NYC. 

Hilma’s Ghost has been awarded a prestigious MTA Arts & Design commission to create Abstract Futures, a 600-square-foot glass mosaic mural, fabricated by Miotto Mosaic Art Studios.The mural was unveiled in May 2025.

On June 20, Hilma’s Ghost hosted a Summer Solstice Ritual at the Olana State Historic Site in collaboration with artist Ellen Harvey. Set within Winter in the Summer House, Harvey’s mirrored installation, participants gathered to mark the longest day of the year through intention, movement, and shared presence.

On February 13, 2025 Hilma's Ghost & Eve Biddle, with choregraphic consulting provided by Amy Larimer, led an evening of performance, color magick and ritual as part of the Guggenheim's Late Shift series. 

Art historian Jennifer Higgie and Hilma’s Ghost discussed their research on women’s artistic and spiritual practices, in partnership with the American Folk Art Museum, NYC, and the Shaker Art Museum. In partnership with the Ford Foundation, Hilma's Ghost marked the new solar cycle of the new year at the Francis Kite Club, with a symbolic group reading and ritual of resistance to illuminate the pathways of the coming year.

Hilma's Ghost led a workshop of drawing and divination exercises at the American Folk Art Museum, in partnership with the M, with inspiration from the Shaker works and techniques, as well as Spiritualists, Dadaists and Surrealists.
